I Walk Alone

I walk alone,
Through lifeís twisting bends.
Isolated on this rocky road;
Friends are not friends.

Friends are false.
The companionship they bring
Is only an illusion of
The heartsí desire to sing.

I walk alone,
Down a tortured path.
That none could wash away,
In rebirthís bath.

Walking away
From false things.
Leaving my life behind,
To seek what tomorrow brings.

Outside a wall of stone.
Inside Iím crying myself to the bone.
No one else will break me down.
I walk alone.
